Dynasty Ball
November 2009 date and venue confirmed!

The BIG event of our year...one of our charity‘s main fundraising events is the annual Dynasty Ball.

The event in 2008 was held in The Hilton Hotel in William Street, Glasgow. We extend our special thanks to all those who attended - and to our MC for the evening, Tam Cowan. Thanks also to all those who donated prizes and supported the event.

For 2009 it‘s a return to The Hilton Hotel and the date for your diary is Saturday, November 7.

The Dynasty Ball is a superb occasion for friends and colleagues to join together to have fun and celebrate - and at the same time raise funds for the charity and in turn support the tremendous work carried out at the Western Infirmary‘s Renal Unit in Glasgow.

The 2009 Dynasty Ball is again sponsored by The Telegraph Group - with thanks to its CEO Murdoch Maclennan.

Glasgow City Council has agreed to sponsor the pre-dinner drinks reception and Associated Newspapers also generously supports the event.

The event has received hugely positive support from a number of companies including Continental Airlines who have generously donated our star prize of two return airline tickets to New York! We thank the airline for the generosity!

Please contact us via the website should you wish to reserve tickets or for more information.

Anne Mulhern MBE is a loyal and generous supporter of the charity.

She has hosted a number of supper nights at her hugely popular Glasgow city centre venue The Willow Tea Rooms.

This year and in 2009 Anne selected her newest business venue - The Macs Cafe in Scotland Street School, Glasgow - for fundraisers.

With only weeks to go before Christmas 08, the event offered guests the chance to enjoy a superb three course supper, a fashion show and an opportunity to shop from a selection of carefully choosen products with an emphasis of the ‘something special‘.

The event was a huge success - and thanks to Anne and ALL her team for their enthusiastic support.

In September 2009 the leading Scots psychic astrologer Frank Pilkington who writes weekly in the Sunday Mail hosted an evening of "stars".

Again Anne and her team provided the food and refreshments for what was a hugely successful evening.

A team from the Abbey bank attended to give support.
